The summer sun high in the sky
so warm, strong and bright.
The shades of pink, purple and orange
fill the eye with much delight.
The gentle breeze which greets the day
breathing life and hope along the way.
The produce from Mother Earth
filling buckets and pails with great worth.
Bright blue skies stretch on and on
inviting the traveler to new adventures
suddenly a storm is brewing, rains fall
providing renewal; a much-needed quencher.
