Day Away Retreats: A Day Away is scheduled once a month, October – May. The day begins with refreshments at 8:30 am, a prayer reflection, quite time, the celebration of the Eucharist, a home-cooked lunch and closing reflection. The day concludes by 3:00 pm. The cost for the day is $30.00 or $40.00 with a private room. This year’s theme is “Living a Resurrected Life” – This retreat includes prayer reflections, the celebration of the Eucharist, lunch, private room (optional) and quiet time. 9:00 am – 3:00 pm.

Individual Silent Retreats: The Mount is available midweek for individuals who seek a time of silent reflection and prayer. If you would like an appointment with a member of the retreat team, please book prior to your stay. You may book for the day or overnight depending upon the other events taking place. There may be limited space for a private weekend retreat, depending on the group that is already booked on site. Please discuss your preference with the office.
Cost: $100.00 which includes and overnight stay and three meals.
Twilight Retreats: Various groups (church and other) are welcome to arrange for a meditative evening (6:00 – 9:00 p.m.). Registration is at 6:00 pm with dinner at 6:30. Our program consists of a reflective talk given after supper, followed by silent meditation and a closing reflection. You are welcome to book a date and bring your own facilitator and/or program, or arrange for a member of the team to give the reflection. The cost is $30.00 per person.

Pope Francis has declared a Year of the Family from March 2021 through June 2022 in conjunction with the Year of St. Joseph (2020-2021). God is so close to us and the tenderness of God’s heart is always toward God’s children. This serves as a launching point for the twilight retreat. The evening retreat includes a delicious home-cooked meal, presentation, time for quiet reflection and a concluding prayer liturgy.
This Twilight Retreat can be held as a Day Away Retreat (Tuesday-Thursday) for CWL, Knights of Columbus, Women’s Groups, Men’s Groups, Families or Parishes. Contact us for options.
A Day Away with the One You Love

A retreat day set aside for you to spend with your spouse, or for a parent to spend with a child or grandparent with a grandchild
or two siblings.
The day begins with registration between 8:30 am, accompanied by a continental breakfast platter for two. The day continues with a Morning Reflection then time with thoughtful questions, Mass, a served gourmet luncheon, more time to share with each other or enjoy the quiet and the grounds, concluding with a Prayer Ritual at 3:00 pm.
This is a perfect day for an engaged couple, newlyweds or for couples with a young family.
Charity of the Cross: Wednesday, April 13. This Holy Week retreat is offered as a Day Away (9:00 am – 3:00 pm) or an Evening Twilight (5:30 pm-9:00 pm). The writings of St. Francis and St. Clare of Assisi around the Passion of Jesus Christ will be the source of the reflections. The costs for each is $30.00 and includes a meal. There are two outdoor Stations of the Cross which you may wish to visit so please dress for the weather.
Brother Sun – Sister Moon: Saturday, July 17. A full-day outdoor retreat beginning at 9:00 am. This retreat includes a walking-pilgrimage, an outdoor Mass, eco-friendly reflections, and evening bonfire. The cost is $60.00, including a packed picnic lunch and BBQ dinner. Please dress and prepare for the weather and terrain. Bring your own water bottle and small day pack to hold the lunch.

Cochrane Women Twilight Retreats: A three-part series is organized for the women of Cochrane (and environs). The dates and topics for 2021-2022 will be announced at a later date. The cost is $30.00. Registration opens at 5:00. Supper is at 6:00 followed by the presentation, quiet time and final prayer reflection. The evening concludes by 8:30 p.m. To register contact either:
