Day Away Retreats: A Day Away is scheduled once a month, October – May. The day begins with refreshments at 8:30 am, a prayer reflection, quiet time, the celebration of the Eucharist, a home-cooked lunch and closing reflection. The day concludes by 3:00 pm. The cost for the day is $40 or $50 with a room.  This retreat includes prayer reflections, the celebration of the Eucharist, lunch, private room (optional) and quiet time. 9:00 am – 3:00 pm.

A Day Away Retreat (Wednesdays 2026-27)

Theme: Frater Asino? Meeting God in the Body
St. Francis of Assisi wrestled with his relationship to his body, and referred affectionately to his body as Brother Donkey. We will spend this series reflecting on how life in our bodies reveals God in and to us.

Wednesdays from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
2026: October 7, November 4, December 2
2027: January 6, February 10, March 10,  April 14, May 5, June 2

This retreat includes a presentation on the theme, silence, Eucharist, lunch, more silence and a closing reflection. Private room is optional.

Individual Silent Retreats: The Mount is available midweek for individuals who seek a time of silent reflection and prayer.   Call to inquire about booking a midweek individual private retreat. If you would like an appointment with a member of the team, please book prior to your stay. Meals are provided.

Cost: $115.00 which includes and overnight stay and three meals.
