praying for Fr. Bob, who is making his final journey home to Jesus
Fr. Bob Mitchell, ofm, has resided and ministered at Mount St. Francis Retreat Centre for many years. His preaching, writing, and ministry has touched many hearts and lives. His health is declining in his 97th year, and he is now journeying toward hospice care and making his final journey home to Jesus. For many years, he has carried us in prayer, and he asks now for our prayers.
We will be hosting an hour of prayer on Sunday, November 1, 2026 from 3:30 to 4:30 at the Mount St. Francis Chapel for those who are able to make it in person; your prayers from where you are will be heard and appreciated if travel is not possible.
Fr. Bob has very limited capacity for visitors, but if you wish to send an email to the office at Mount St. Francis, we will make sure that he receives your message.
