We have been advised by AHS that a person who visited the property on Good Friday has tested positive for COVID-19. This was an outdoor activity attended by many people throughout the day. AHS was advised that the building was not open and public washrooms were not accessible. People who wished to pray the Stations of the Cross were advised to follow AHS guidelines and stay in small groups and keep proper physical distancing. The following letter was provided by AHS for those who also visited the property that day.

RE: Notice of Coronavirus (COVID-19) Good Friday Stations of the Cross
Public Health staff are investigating a case of COVID-19 at Mount St. Francis Retreat Centre Outdoor Stations of the Cross on April 2, 2021
If you attended on this day be advised that you were NOT identified as a close contact at the location above. Although you have not been identified as a close contact, please observe yourself for the following symptoms for the next 14 days (two weeks). Symptoms may include fever, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, sore throat or runny nose. Some people with COVID-19 lose their sense of smell and taste, have nausea, vomiting, diarrhea or just generally feel unwell.
If you develop the symptoms as described above please isolate at home and complete the AHS COVID-19 Testing/Online Booking or call Health Link at 811 as soon as possible to arrange for COVID-19 testing.
